Turkey's Transportation Ministry postponed on Monday a tender for the construction of a third bridge on the Istanbul Strait.
Ministry executives said they had extended the deadline to receive bids for the North Marmara Motorway tender, including the construction of a third bridge on the Bosphorus, till January 10, 2012.
The previous deadline was August 23, 2011.
The project will be carried out on a build-operate model.
