Turkish and U.S. businesspeople gathered in a meeting on Saturday in the southwestern resort town of Bodrum to discuss ways to increase trade volume between the two countries.

The meeting was held in cooperation of the American-Turkish Council (ATC), Turkish American Business Association and Bodrum Chamber of Trade.

ATC Chairman Former U.S. Ambassador Richard Armitage participated in the meeting along with Joseph T. MacAndrew, Boeing's deputy chief of business development for Europe, as well as Michael A. Lally, the commercial counsellor of the U.S. Embassy in Ankara.
