One non-commissioned Turkish officer was killed and another ranked soldier was wounded when PKK terrorists attacked a pickup truck carrying construction materials to a gendarmerie outpost in Genc town of the eastern province of Bingol on Sunday, Anadolu Agency reported.
The driver of the pickup truck was also wounded in the attack.
A wide scale military operation is underway in the region to capture the terrorists responsible for today's attack.
