Iranian security forces have arrested four members of the anti-Iran Rigi terrorist group, also known as Jundallah, as they were attempting to enter Iran, a Judiciary official has announced.

The Judiciary chief of the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, Ebrahim Hamidi, told IRIB on Tuesday that the four men were arrested on the border carrying explosive vests, Press TV reported.

They now face "charges of espionage as well as cooperation with counter-revolutionary elements," Hamidi said.

Jundallah is a Pakistan-based terrorist group that has carried out numerous bombings, assassinations, and terrorist attacks in Iran.

The group's ringleader, Abdolmalek Rigi, was arrested by Iranian intelligence forces in February 2010 and executed in June 2010, after having been found guilty of over 75 crimes, including armed robbery, bombing operations, and armed attacks on police and civilians.
