Fresh foreign direct investments in Turkey amounted to 4.67 billion USD in the first four months in 2011, data showed.
The Turkish Treasury said the increase marked a 126.5 percent surge over the same period a year earlier. The figure for January-April period in 2010 was 2,065 million USD.
In April alone Turkey attracted 684 million USD in FDI while the biggest inflow in the given period was in March with 2.83 billion USD, the Treasury said.
