Two brothers convicted of kidnapping and murder were hanged Sunday in south-western Iran, the Mehr news agency reported.
They had kidnapped the son of jeweller and demanded ransom but eventually killed the boy after their plan had failed.
They were hanged in a prison in Dezful after their death sentences were confirmed by the Supreme Court.
Murder, rape, armed robbery and trafficking in more than 5 kilograms of drugs are among the crimes punishable by death in Iran.
