"Caspian Tales," a film in three parts about the history of the Caspian Sea, is being shot in the Simafilm Center on the Iranian television.

The film will be shot based on three different sections.

The first part "In Light of the Lighthouse" reflects Caspian Sea history for three centuries and the fight of the population who lived on the Caspian shores with pirates.

The second part "Under the Moonlight" tells about the history of the Caspian Sea for a hundred years and the crimes committed by the Russian empire against the people who lived on the Caspian coast.

The third part is "Under the Sun Light." It tells us about the present history of the Caspian Sea, on the efforts of the region’s peoples to defend their interests and present development processes.

The film’s producer is Davood Daneshvard.
