Iran dismantled a team linked to Komala terrorist cell in southern part of Western Kurdistan province, ISNA reported.

The Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Kamyaran town, Sharaf Bayani said, "a terrorist team linked to disbanded terrorist group of Komola was dismantled in Kamyaran town."

"Mercenary soldiers linked to the US killed a farmer last Friday, but they were captured on Sunday following pursuit of the issue and information received from people," he added.

"One of the individuals was killed and three others were wounded and fled the scene," he added.

Since the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Komala terrorist group has plotted and performed many terror actions against Iranians in western part of the country.In November 2010, four Komala terrorists were captured in the western city of Marivan. The agents were responsible for carrying out five assassinations in the past two years.

The captured terrorists confessed to receiving orders in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah from their commander, identified as Jalil Fattahi, who is now residing in Britain.

The detainees said that they were originally promised $20,000 for each terror attack, but were only paid $8,000 after accomplishing their missions.
