South Caucasus Railways (SCR) and Georgian Railways signed a cooperation agreement after two-day talks in Tbilisi.

The agreement, signed by SCR Director Shevket Shaydulin and Georgian Railways director Irakliy Ezugbaia, reiterated readiness of the sides to develop cooperation on increasing rail transportation, infrastructure, exchange of information, improvement of transport service quality and activities in the area of ​​rail safety.

The sides also made a decision on operation of daily Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan train from June 15 to September 30. In this regard it was decided to temporarily cancel Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan train, SCR press service reported.
