Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met President of the Autonomous Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnihanov, as part of his visit to Russia, Anadolu Agency reported.
Following the closed-door meeting, President Minnihanov hosted a banquet in honor of Prime Minister Erdogan and the accompanying delegation.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Erdogan proceeded to Kazan from Moscow after attending the High-Level Consultative Council meeting and holding talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
