The budget of the OSCE summit in Astana, which will be held on Dec. 1-2, totals 11 million euros, the executive secretary on preparations for the OSCE summit, ambassador on special tasks Serzhan Abdykarimov said at a briefing in Astana.

"The budget summit totals 11 million euros, of which one quarter accounts for OSCE member countries," said Abdykarimov.

He reminded that the cost of holding the summit will be born by the OSCE member countries and the rest - the host country.

"The share of the cost of the summit is calculated according to the scale of contributions made by member countries," he said.

According to Abdykarimov, the total number of guests and participants of the summit in Astana will be more than 5,000 people.

"Today more than 2,500 delegates, 1,200 media representatives, 600 representatives of various NGOs have been registered," he said.

According to him, 28 heads of state, 10 heads of government, seven deputy prime ministers and 14 ministers have confirmed their participation.
