09 July 2010 [14:45] - Today.Az
According to Armenian media, Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan has arrived in Khankandi in an attempt to persuade separatists of a need to withdraw troops from occupied Azerbaijani lands. Iragir.am reports that Serzh Sargsyan tripped to Khankandi to discuss proposals presented by Russia during the recent Sargsyan-Aliyev-Medvedev meeting in St. Petersburg.
The main point here is "St. Petersburg proposals", which, according to Armenian media, "are, in fact, a new document on the table today."
Armenia has agreed to accept this “document” as a basis to continue talks under the Madrid principles.
