Rate of inflation in Ukraine and Armenia have surged to 10.8% and 8% accordingly from January to April 2010, CIS Statistics Committee said.

In general, price of consumer goods in CIS an average increased by 7%, including Armenia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Moldova. The minimum jump in price was in Tajikistan with 5.5% and Azerbaijan 4.4%.
