EU Commissioner for Enlargement and the European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Fule will visit Tbilisi on Apr. 7-9.
During the visit he will meet with President Mikheil Saakashvili and other Government representatives, the Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at the traditional of Monday press briefing.
Talks with the Georgian opposition leaders are scheduled. Fule will visit areas of refugee population, and get acquainted with their problems. He will also meet with representatives of the EU monitoring mission.
Kalandadze stressed that this is European Commissioner's visit to Georgia, during which Fule intends to get familiarized with the situation in the country and the region, as well as with the electoral campaign and the preparations for the upcoming local elections on May 30.
