Ministers will be punished more severely from now on if the Control Service reveals any violations, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated at a government sitting on April 1.

"All the Ministers are well aware of the President’s clearly worded decree. At the initial stage he firmly warned the heads of the agencies that committed violations. We are now at the second stage – violations and abuse will be punished even more severely," the Premier said.

He ordered the Minister of Education and Science and the Minister of Transport and Communication, where the Control Service recently conducted inspections, to prepare as schedule of measures to prevent further violations.

“The second order applies to all the agencies the Control Service officially reported on last year. They must report to the Premier on how they are dealing with the faults in order to compensate for all the financial losses,” Sargsyan said.
