Turkish State Minister & government spokesman Cemil Cicek said on Monday that EU Action Plan for 2010-2011 was adopted at Council of Ministers.

Speaking after the Council of Ministers meeting, Cicek said that the ministers were briefed about the action plan and it was adopted at the meeting.

Cicek recalled that EU Commissioner for enlargement Stefan Fuele was currently paying a visit to Turkey, and he held meetings with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

Noting that Turkish State Minister & chief negotiator for EU talks Egemen Bagis would hold a meeting about the chapters which would be discussed in Brussels within the scope of Turkey's EU bid, Cicek said that there were several draft laws which should be adopted at Turkish Parliament regarding the chapters that could be opened to negotiations.

Cicek said that they wanted these draft laws to be approved at Parliament as soon as possible.
