Late Monday night President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has approved of appointing Mahdi Safari as Iran’s new ambassador to China.
Safari was earlier this month scheduled to be dispatched to Britain as the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ambassador to London.
Among the important political and diplomatic posts formerly held by Safari we can refer to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow and deputy foreign minister for Asia and Europe affairs.
