15 March 2010 [19:20] - Today.Az

“No one in the world has said that the [economic] crisis is over,” said Prosperous Armenia Party leader and notorious businessman Gagik Tsarukyan to journalists in the parliamentary meeting, while not excluding possibility that the crisis’ second phase might begin.

“Those states who’ve experienced a growth, instead of a decline, of 4–6% don’t attempt to say that the crisis is over,” he said.

According to Tsarukyan, Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan, who recently had said that the crisis has been “overcome” in Armenia, “hasn’t been in his place; he’s overseeing neither the economy nor the state of the economy.”

Asked whether he had informed Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan of his opinion, Tsarukyan said that the president is already aware of this and is taking the necessary measures.
