Ambassador of Germany Brand Erbel was summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry to protest over the release of the group leader PJAK, who was arrested last week in Germany.
Head of PJAK group, which is an Iranian wing of the terrorist group PKK, Abdulrahman Haj Ahmadi was arrested in Germany.
PJAK group operates in the Iranian province of Kurdistan. It killed a large number of soldiers in repeated skirmishes with the Iranian army. The group aims to separate Kurdistan from Iran.
