Turkish State Minister Hayati Yazici left for Georgia on an official visit.

He is set to hold a series of talks with Georgian authorities in the city of Batumi.

Yazici will meet with Georgian Finance Minister Kakha Baindurashvili. He will also attend opening of a high school built by a Turkish firm.

The trade volume between Turkey and Georgia was 995 million USD as of end-2008. The free trade agreement signed by the two countries has been in effect since November 1, 2008.
