The Iranian Foreign Ministry has appointed new ambassadors to foreign countries including Iraq, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Indonesia, and Bosnia.

Hassan Danai-Far has been appointed as Iran's new ambassador to Baghdad.

Ahmad Sobhani has been appointed as the Islamic Republic's new ambassador to Pakistan. Sobhani has acted as the director of the Foreign Ministry department for Latin American Affairs.

Mahmoud Farazandeh has been appointed as new ambassador to Indonesia. He had served as Tehran's ambassador to Uganda.

Qorban Seifi has been appointed as Iran's new ambassador to Kazakhstan. Seifi had acted as Iran's second-ranking diplomat in Moscow.

The Foreign Ministry director for media affairs Akbar Qasemi has been named as new ambassador to Kiev. Qasemi had served as chairman of Iran's interest section in Egypt.

Ali Asghar Naseri has been appointed as Tehran's new ambassador to Tripoli.

Naseri was caretaker of Iran's embassy in Libya.

Mohammad-Mousa Hashemi Golpayegani has been appointed as Iran's new ambassador to Turkmenistan.

Seyyed Reza Nobakhti has been appointed as the ambassador to Ivory Coast. He was Iran's second-ranking diplomat in Warsaw.

Mostafa Mosleh-Zadeh was appointed as the new ambassador to Jordan. He acted as special advisor to President Ahmadinejad in strategic affairs.

Majid Samar-Zadeh Saber was appointed as new ambassador to Georgia. He served as Iran's second-ranking diplomat in Ukraine.

Ali Laki has been appointed as the country's new ambassador to Bosnia.

Abolqasem Dalafi has been appointed as the Islamic Republic's ambassador to Serbia. He had served as Tehran's top diplomat to Belgium.

Tehran's new ambassadors to the UAE and China will be named in the coming days.
