March 4 is declared a mourning day in Georgia.

State flags are lowered at all the state institutions, including the presidential administration and the Parliament.

The mourning day was declared by President Mikheil Saakashvili due to the blast in Tkibuli mine, which killed 4 workers and seriously injured one.

The special governmental commission to find out the reasons of the tragedy.

According to early reports, the blast occurred due to accumulation of methane.
