On Feb. 24, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan was beaten up just in front of the Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office.
The journalist said a man attacked him as he was trying to take pictures of the officers.
The attacker was insulting the journalist and hitting him in the face.
Shamshyan reported that he had shown the attacker’s picture to Armenian Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan and officers.
The attacker proved to be an officer of the Head Investigation Department.
Shamshyan did not feel good and could hardly answer questions.
