24 February 2010 [11:51] - Today.Az
The leader of the Democratic Movement - United Georgia, Nino Burjanadze has broken the silence and made her comments regarding the consultations, which have been underway since the past few days.

Burjanadze says her party boycotts the self-government elections, because these elections are not the best way for solving the problems, which the country faces today.

"Our demands have not changed - we demand early presidential elections and the resignation of the president, because the problems the country is facing today cannot be solved via self-government elections," Burjanadze said, adding that the current situation inside the opposition proved that boycotting these elections was a reasonable decision.
