Though OSCE has no experience of monitoring elections of local authorities, Kanat Saudabayev, acting chairman of the organisation, promised that its representatives would monitor May 30 elections in Georgia.

The announcement was voiced at today's meeting with Georgian opposition representatives in Tbilisi.

The meeting was attended by representatives of both parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition.

After the meeting Nino Burjanadze, Democratic Movement-United Georgia leader said the main topics were condition of democracy in the country and security issues.
