Turkey and Kazakhstan signed three agreements Thursday on bilateral cooperation.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with his Kazakh counterpart Kanat Saudabayev in Astana and the two signed three cooperation agreements.

After the signature ceremony Davutoglu said Turkey and Kazakhstan would work together on a common Eurasia strategy.

Davutoglu said Turkish embassies would assist Kazakhstan in places it has no diplomatic missions.

"I hope it will not be necessary but we signed a cooperation agreement against disasters. Turkey will always stand by Kazakhstan. Foreign Ministers of the two countries will at least meet twice a year," said Davutoglu.

Kazakh Foreign Minister Saudabayev said they wanted to work in cooperation with Turkey in all fields.

During meetings between delegations of the two countries, Kazakhstan's Visa Waiver Programme towards Turkish citizens was discussed. Turkish side proposed extension of the duration of stay to three months from one month, which was met positively by the Kazakh side.
