04 February 2010 [11:48] - Today.Az
Last year Armenia’s imports of oil and oil products totaled of 344,510 tons or U.S. $237.93 in terms of customs value – a 13.9-percent decrease or a 36.3-percent decrease in terms of customs value as compared with the previous year, Armenian State Revenue Committee said.
According to Business-24, the global financial crisis mainly accounts for the decrease in imports in oil products.
As regards the fall in the customs value, it is the result of lower oil prices, the committee said.
