Gen. Raymond Odierno, commander of the multi-national force responsible for Iraq invasion was paying a visit to the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Wednesday as the official guest of Turkish Interior Minister Besir Atalay.
Two authorities took up the latest situation in Qandil and Mahmur camps in the north of Iraq which constitutes a milestone of the dissolution process of PKK.
Atalay and Odierno held a meeting which was participated also by Turkey's Baghdad ambassador, top military officers as well as Turkey's police and intelligence chiefs.
Turkey, Iraq and the United States have established a trilateral mechanism against PKK in the region.
The U.S. has been providing "actionable intelligence" to Turkey in Ankara's bid to finish PKK militants who stage attacks inside Turkey from their bases in Iraq's north, Anadolu news agency said.
