In 2009, the assets of the United National Movement, the ruling party of Georgia, decreased by over half a million lari [GEL 548,604, appr. USD 328,500] comparing to 2008, and amounted GEL 1, 896, 057 [USD 1,115,328].
The report, containing these figures, was published by the party in the local press this week.
In 2008, the assets amounted GEL 2,444,661 [USD 1,438,036].
Liability remained the same both in 2008 and 2009 - GEL 897,785 [USD 537,596].
In the structure of budget most expenses were planned for information expenditures - GEL 892,746 [USD 534,589].
This year the ruling party received state financing of GEL 1,827,186 [USD 1,084,815] and targeted financing of GEL 214,081 [USD 125,930 ].
In 2008, the year of presidential and parliamentary elections, besides these sources, party received donations - GEL 12,479,332 [USD 7,340,784] and GEL 13,093,077 [USD 7,701,810 ] for electoral campaign.
