A group of Chechen families who fled to Turkey after the Russian invasion of Chechnya struggle in difficult conditions.
Turkey's IHH said in a statement, its teams made food packets, meat, flour and cooking oil aid to 121 Chechen refugee families living in Beykoz, Umraniye and Fenerbahce refugee camps. Aid work took place under the heavy snowfall.

As winter approaches, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation delivered aid to the Chechen refugees in Fenerbahce refugee camp, which is especially cold because it is founded on the edge of the sea. The refugee families who settled in a small section under the Umraniye Mosque dream to have their own home one day. Living in the same building, Chechen families in Beykoz live with help from aid organizations and their neighbors.
Chechen families expressed their thanks to the benevolent Turkish citizens and prayed for them. The families living in the camps in Yalova and various district in Istanbul were distributed food and meat as well, the statement sent to World Bulletin.
A group of concerned people individually formed IHH in response to attempt to "ethnic cleansing" of Serbs in Bosnia, largest genocide committed after the World War II.
Since then, IHH volunteers keeps aid missions throughout the world.
