22 January 2010 [16:04] - Today.Az
The Georgian government intends to send its monitors for the second round of presidential elections in Ukraine to be held on Feb. 17.

"The more monitors there will be, the more trust to the elections," said MP Irakli Kavtaradze [United National Movement, the ruling party].

"We'll monitor the places that are more prone to violations," he said, but didn't specify the number of monitors to be sent.

Sources say the government will "send as many monitors as needed."
