22 January 2010 [11:44] - Today.Az
Prosecutors and investigators of the Hague international Tribunal will arrive in Georgia in early February to investigate circumstances of the beginning of war in South Ossetia in August 2008.

Liya Mukhashavria, a renowned attorney, stated the visit would be held due to Russia's address to the Hague, as well as the decision of European structures to start investigation after the report of Heidi Tagliavini.

This report blames Georgia for unleashing the war.

The government learned about the upcoming visit on Jan. 18 from Nestan Kirtadze, pro-opposition Labour party spokesperson.

Kirtadze cannot rule out at the international level Georgia will "be called not victim, but aggressor."

"Unfortunately, we'll have to pay much for myths and legends connected with the epoch after the "Rose Revolution," she said.
