Armenian foreign trade turnover reduced 28.5 percent ($3 billion) in Jan-Nov. 2009 from the same period of 2009.

According to Armenia's National Statistical Service, trade turnover with CIS countries fell by 21.9 percent to settle at $1.65 billion, whereas turnover with EU states reduced by 39.7 percent to settle at $1.76 billion for the same period.

According to Business 24 daily news, as of Jan.- Nov., 2009, 30 percent of Armenia’s foreign trade turnover accounted for CIS states (Russia — 22.8 percent), EU states — 30.2 percent, China — 7 percent, U.S. — 4.8 percent and Turkey — 4.5 percent.
