Two deputies from the Democratic Left Party (DSP) resigned from their party on Tuesday.
Two deputies from the Democratic Left Party (DSP) resigned from their party on Tuesday.
Harun Ozturk, a MP from Izmir province, and Huseyin Pazarci, a deputy from Balikesir province, announced that they have resigned from DSP.
The number of DSP deputies dropped to six while the number of independent deputies increased to 11.
The distribution of seats at Parliament after DSP deputies' resignations is as follows:
Justice & Development (AK) Party: 337
Republican People's Party (CHP): 97
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP): 69
Peace and Democracy Party (BDP): 20
Independent: 11
Democratic Left Party (DSP): 6
Democrat Party (DP): 1
Turkey Party: 1
Vacant: 8
Total : 550
