Turkish police confiscated 53 kg of heroin in an Iranian passenger bus in southeastern province of Gaziantep on Sunday.

Narcotics teams, acting on a tip off, searched the passenger bus parked in a street in Gaziantep and found the heroin hidden to the ceiling of the bus.

Four Iranian citizens were detained on charges of being involved in "international drug trafficking".
