The United States authorities have announced a ban on transactions related to quantum technologies, semiconductors and artificial intelligence for persons located in the country with representatives of a number of states, including China, Azernews reports.

"Today, the Treasury Department will publish the final rule for the application of U.S. President Joe Biden's Executive Order 14105 of August 2023 on U.S. investments in certain technologies related to national security, as well as products in countries of concern," the message says.

In addition, it is noted that persons located in the United States are required to notify the Ministry of Finance of transactions involving advanced technologies.
