The Business Roadmap 2020 program will be extended until 2025, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his annual message to the people of Kazakhstan, Kapital.kz reported.
"In 2010, we launched the Business Roadmap 2020 program. Within my visits to the regions, I have been convinced that it is effective. The program must be extended until 2025," he said.
The president noted that it is necessary to provide at least 30 billion tenge annually for the implementation of this program.
"This will make it possible to create at least 22,000 new jobs in three years. Due to this, 224 billion tenge of taxes will be attracted to the budget, and products for 3 trillion tenge will be produced," Nazarbayev said.
In addition, he instructed to start a tax amnesty for small- and medium-sized businesses from January 1, 2019.
The president noted that it is necessary to form stable sources of business growth, stimulate private investment and ensure the freedom of the market, as it is business that creates new jobs and provides the majority of Kazakhs with income.
The purpose of Kazakhstan's Business Roadmap is to preserve the existing jobs and create new permanent workplaces, as well as to ensure sustainable and balanced growth of regional entrepreneurship in non-primary sectors of the economy.
The program includes four main areas: support for new business initiatives of entrepreneurs, sectoral support for entrepreneurs operating in priority sectors of the economy and manufacturing industries, reduction of the currency risks of entrepreneurs, as well as non-financial measures to support entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan.
