Donald Trump calls Middle East leaders ahead of planned announcement on Jerusalem.

Ahead of his expected announcement to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, President Trump is making phone calls Tuesday to the leaders of Israel, the Palestine and Jordan.

The White House said Donald Trump is speaking to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and King Abdullah II of Jordan, and likely will speak with other foreign leaders.
