Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization banned the import of 227 kinds of goods from the US, ISNA agency reported Dec. 14.

Relevant authorities in Iran have been notified about the decision.

The ban covers the import of chewing gum, cigarettes, CDs, DVDs, billiard tables, office equipment, luxury goods, food, tea, paintings and others.
