An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale hit the Hormuz Island in the Hormozgan Province of Iran, ISNA reported Sept. 11.

The earthquake occurred at 07:08 local time (UTC/GMT +4:30 hours).

There has been no report regarding destructions or casualties so far.
