The international reserves of Kazakhstan, including gross gold reserves of the National Bank and the National Fund’s assets in foreign currency, decreased in January-July 2015, and amounted to $97.159 billion at the end of July, said the National Bank.

At the end of 2014, the international reserves of Kazakhstan amounted to $102.481 billion.

At the same time, gold reserves of the National Bank rose by 0.2 percent (up to $28.977 billion) since early 2015, and the National Fund’s assets declined by 7.31 percent (to $68,182 billion).

In July, the National Bank's gold reserves increased by 0.3 percent, and the National Fund’s assets declined by 1.23 percent.
