Uzbekistan and Russia will discuss the relevant issues on the bilateral and international agenda during the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Tashkent July 14, Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The visit will take place as part of the regular Uzbek-Russian dialogue, according to the ministry.

Recently, Uzbekistan’s President Islam Karimov met with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Ufa, Russia.

During that meeting, Karimov said that Uzbekistan and Russia are bound by many factors and disputes on various issues can’t separate the two countries.
