The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze on Friday starts an official visit to Armenia. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, this is her first visit to Armenia in the rank of minister.
During the visit, the Foreign Minister will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan and her counterpart Edward Nalbandian.
The Foreign Ministry said that the meetings will focus on topical issues of cooperation between Georgia and Armenia, and the prospects for deepening cooperation in various fields.
