"These stupid initiatives seriously threaten our state," - he stressed.

As mentioned by Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili to "Reszonansi" newspaper on Friday, there are many questions concerning construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.

"Construction of Kars-Akhalkalaki railway raises questions. Maybe I will have to set them during a visit to Azerbaijan and very gently explain to the friendly country, that at some stage the project will be disadvantageous to us. The project requires a settlement," Ivanishvili said.

According to him, this process will not go easy, as construction works are already in progress.

"Prior to the start of construction works this process would have gone easier, but at this stage it would be harder to deal with. We have to respect the commitments taken by the neighboring countries and the former government, but at the same time there are questions to be answered," Ivanishvili said.
