Georgian parliamentary delegation left for France to take part in the activity of the PACE Monitoring Committee. The Georgian delegation is headed by one of the leaders of the parliamentary majority, Tina Khidasheli.
The committee will discuss the situation around the parliamentary elections held in Georgia on Oct.1, and the subsequent developments.
According to Khidasheli, this will be first discussions over the post-election situation in Georgia.
"Last week rapporteurs visited Georgia and we wonder how they evaluate the situation," she told journalists on Tuesday.
MPs from the parliamentary minority state that at the hearings they will raise issue of detention of former senior government officials for political reasons.
