Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi met with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on Wednesday as part of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) held in Astana, IRNA news agency reports.

The parties focused on bilateral relations, a number of regional and international issues, including the situation in Syria.

Salehi on Wednesday also met with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The sides discussed a number of issues of interest to both countries.
