09 June 2012 [08:53] - Today.Az
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that a fifth round of talks with Iran ended in disappointment in Vienna on Friday, as no agreement was reached on a planned investigation of alleged nuclear weapons projects, dpa reported.
"There has been no progress," IAEA chief inspector Herman Nackaerts told reporters. "This is disappointing."
No new talks had yet been scheduled, he added.
Iran's envoy in Vienna, Ambassador Ali Asghar Soltanieh, said the talks on access to sites, documents and experts related to possible nuclear weapons research and development were very complex and would therefore take more time.
