A meeting of energy ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) will be held in Iran on June 25 - 27, Secretary General of the organization Mohammed Yahya Maroufi said at the press conference on Tuesday, Iranian news agency Shana reported.
Event is organized by the Ministry of Petroleum of Iran, Maroufi said.
"The upcoming meeting will contribute to the development of energy cooperation, trade and technology among member countries of ECO," he said.
Representatives of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Iran will participate in the event.
