Islamic Republic of Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that Iran deems as very important the upcoming nuclear talks slated for May 14-15 in Vienna and May 23 in Baghdad, IRNA reported.

The Vienna talks will be held between Iranian delegation and experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Baghdad talks on May 23 will be held between Iranian delegation and representative from Group 5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany).

Foreign Minister Salehi said that a new framework by the negotiating parties should be drawn to help take specified steps by the negotiating sides.

Referring to the fact that the West has created Iran's nuclear case in order to exert pressure on Iran, he pointed out that the West should put an end on its biased diplomacy against Iran.

"Iran's activities are within the legal framework of IAEA and Iran is ready to discuss all problems in a serious manner and without any precondition," Salehi added.
