Main problem in the region is the presence of the foreign forces, Islamic Republic Foreign Ministry's spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said this morning at a press conference in Tehran, Press TV reported live.
Speaking of situation in Afghanistan, Mehmanparast noted that foreign forces in the region destabilize the whole region. He added that Iran closely follows the developments in the neighboring country.
He underscored that the best solution would be to prepare a way for the foreign forces to exit the region.
When asked about the visit of Iran's president to Brazil, Mehmanparast noted that so far no official information is available.
On the topic of Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi's visit to Tunisia, Mehmanparast noted that Iran is interested in cooperation with Tunisia regarding varions areas and regional issues.
"There is a popular government in place in Tunisia, and we look forward to strengthening our mutual ties," Mehmanparast said.
Regarding the sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic, Mehmanparast noted that they don't have any impact on Iran, and that they will not harm the upcoming "Iran-Six powers" talks on Islamic Republic's nuclear program.
